Awaken Your Ancestral Memory
A 5-Night Retreat with Manari Ushigua in cooperation with Woman on a Mission.
December 2–7, 2025 | Jungle Retreat Center, near Tulum, Mexico
Traditional Ceremonies · Sápara Teachings · Dreamwork · Earth Connection
Are you ready to leave old patterns, pains, and coping mechanisms behind to live a life you’re truly in love with?
Do you want to connect with your true self, and remember who you truly are?
Release emotional weight, a racing mind, and self doubt, so you can feel deeply at home within yourself?
Meet Manari Ushigua
Spiritual Guide · Dreamwalker · Voice of the Rainforest
Manari is a visionary leader, traditional healer, and spiritual teacher of the Sápara Nation—an Indigenous people of the Ecuadorian Amazon with a lineage of dreamers, guardians of sacred memory, and stewards of the rainforest.
His presence is a transmission.
Recognized internationally for his environmental and cultural advocacy, Manari walks between worlds: the ancient and the modern, the spiritual and the visionary strategic. He speaks not only with words, but with vibration—with song, silence, and ceremony.
To sit in circle with him is not to be taught—it is to be remembered and a true honor.
The Journey We Will Walk Together
Over five nights and six days, we will be guided through a sacred arc of remembering. The rhythm of this retreat follows the intelligence of the rainforest: slow, spacious, sacred.
We will gather in:
- Two traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies guided by Manari
- Daily Sápara teachings on dreamwork, ancestral wisdom & nature
- Group sharings and integration spaces
- Earth-based rituals and connection to the land
- Silence, song, and deep energetic transmission
This is not a retreat of doing—but of being. A sacred pause. A soul retrieval.
A return to something you didn’t know you had forgotten.
The Medicine: Ayahuasca
A Sacred Plant Ally for Healing & Vision
We will sit in two traditional ceremonies with Ayahuasca, held with deep respect and spiritual integrity.
Ayahuasca is a sacred vine medicine of the Amazon rainforest, traditionally used for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Known as “la medicina” or “the vine of the soul,” it opens us to layers of consciousness where deep truths are revealed, pain is transformed, and visions are born.
Ceremonies will be conducted in the traditional Sápara way—through song, prayer, and energetic guidance. You will be prepared beforehand and held with care during and after, with space for integration and grounding.
This is powerful work. And you will not walk it alone.
The Location: A Jungle Retreat with the Frequency of Healing
Our home for this journey is a simple, authentic retreat center nestled deep in the Mexican jungle. Far from noise and distraction, this land invites you into stillness and simplicity.
- Shared jungle cabanas or rustic rooms, single occupation available as well
- Compost toilets and solar showers
- Delicious Plant-based, nourishing meal
- Nights under the stars, days in barefoot presence
- A pool to cool down, as well as freshwater cenotes and the Caribbean beach nearby
35 min away from Tulum, in the middle of the jungle you find the Retreat Center
Feel the vibe…
This is not luxury in the traditional sense—there are no infinity pools or marble floors.
But it is the luxury of truth, of Earth, of deep listening.
Come as you are. The land will receive you.
Retreat Flow: The Rhythm of the Days
(Please note: we work in the traditional Amazonian way, which means the schedule will likely be adjusted to Manari’s intuitive flow.)
We will also visit local Cenotes, the beach, and the Maya Ruins of Tulum.
Who Is This For
This retreat is not for everyone.
- It is for those who feel ready to leave behind the patterns that keep them stuck in suffering and stuck in old traumatic wounds.
- For those longing to return to soul, to source, to truth and their real authentic selves.
- For those ready to do the work. Plant medicine is not for the faint hearted and is asking for commitment and full self responsibility, when the mirror of yourself is held before you.
You may be a seeker, a leader, a healer, or an artist.
You may be navigating change or standing at the edge of the unknown.
You may not know why you’re called—but you feel the call. That is enough.
This retreat is limited to a small group to preserve intimacy and depth.
